Ron Howard is great

See more Ron Howard videos at Funny or Die

I saw this on the Huffington Post and nearly laughed out loud. As PSA’s go, I think this was the best one I’ve seen yet.

For a variety of reason, I’m voting for Sen. Obama but No mater your politics, everyone that is eligible should register and vote.  It’s one time that people have a chance to directly express the direction where they want the Gov’t to go.

Rep. Michelle Bachmann is nuts…

Saw this on Huffington Post. I’ve always thought Rep. Michelle Bachmann was little Nuts, but she’s really drank the Kool Aid this time around.  As the article points out, Chris Matthews tried to get her to explain exactly what she was talking about (at one point Rep. Bachmann seemed to imply that liberalism was anti-Americanism), the congresswoman waded deeper into the mud.

How Sen. McCarthy of her! Calling for a “Expose”?  WOW.

People like her are proxies for the McCain campaign and this is just another example of the Dirty Politics the McCain campaign is resorting to. I expect that it will only get worse as the election nears.

Wow. McCain representative is nuts. A Reflection of the McCain Campaign?

Shocking, I know.  I saw this on Firedoglake and was pleasantly surprised to see Chris Wallace ask lobbyist and McCain spokesman, Rick Davis about the hateful rhetoric at McCain/Palin Rallies by some of McCain supporters.

What does Rick Davis do? Pretend that he question was about comments made by Georgia congressman John Lewis *And* throw in that Sen. John McCain was a POW too…

Huh?!?!  As much as I hate to Link to Faux News, See the transcript yourself.

Ok, It’s no secret that the “Straight Talk Express” has been run off the road, but to be asked direct question and respond like that is, IMO,  completely insane.

Must be a lobbyist spin thing. The truth is that the McCain campaign is running a deceitful negative campaign that IS inciting people to violence. That was exactly what Rep. John Lewis’s point.

Now for something different

As many of my friends know,I suffer from sinus problems nearly year round.  Going to Costco, I saw this Sinus rinse (2 pack for $13) and figured I’d try it.

It works surprisingly well. It’s pretty simple and basically a saline rinse of your sinuses. In my case, it means I’m not congested during the day and I get a good night sleep. This is the same company as Neti pot.

Nothing at the moment, I’m watching “Returner” on DVD.

Vice President debate

Came home a little late. So far no out right Gaffes, but Gov. Palin is acting a little snarky and seems to be smiling or giggling every time Sen. Biden speaks.

Amusingly, she’s attempting to lecture Sen. Biden and to tell him What his positions are. More than a little Odd, but I’m betting the GOP Spins it as just being “Tough”. IMO, She’s simply using all the talking points but not really answering questions. She’s also speaking way too fast.

Sen. Biden is answering questions, keeping focused and getting better responses from the crowd according to CNN’s instant graph.

Thinkprogress is keeping track of the debate.

Update: According to CNN’s “Analyst Scorecard” Sen. Biden is winning.

Update II: That Odd. I’m betting the pundits won’t call it for Biden till morning.
