Going to work Friday, I thought the combination of the new Baruch College building was quite a Contrast against Older buildings. This is from 25th Street off 3rd Avenue.
With the exception of the Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building, I’m not really a Fan of Metal architecture. I like Older Architecture like Eleven Madison Avenue or One Madison Avenue.
One Amusing thing to note: The curved side of Baruch’s new Building on 25th is Dangerous in Winter. The Curved Metal surface allows ice to form and the entire side walk has to be covered with scaffolds to prevent people from getting hurt.
Here is the new Baruch College building from 24th Street.
